Sleeping Lion Rock Day Trip
At the appointed time, we’ll meet on 12 de Febrero Avenue in Puerto Baquerizo on San Cristóbal Island. From there, we’ll travel in a comfortable minibus to the port, where we’ll board a boat to cruise the waters of the Pacific to Roca León Dormido.
After an hour and a half crossing, we'll arrive at these extraordinary volcanic formations. Do you see a shoe or a lion? On these mounds jutting out of the sea, we'll see Nazca boobies and blue-footed boobies.
Later, we'll put on our snorkelling gear and... duck into the water! You'll spot Galapagos and hammerhead sharks, as well as countless sea turtles.
When we return to the boat, we’ll enjoy a light lunch of snacks to recharge our energy. Afterward, we’ll set sail again to visit Cerro Brujo, a fascinating eroded volcanic cone whose stone arch will catch everyone’s eye. Be sure to take pictures of La Catedral!
Finally, we'll return to the mainland and take you back to the starting point, where we'll wrap up the activity 4.5 hours later.
