Nunca me había pasado.

The tour was generally quite good, providing a good overview of the Medina and helpful tips, although there were a couple of things I didn't like: firstly, they took us to a weaving workshop where I bought a simple pashmina for 300 Dirhams, and right outside they were selling it for 60! It's unacceptable to be taken on a tour and then be ripped off. Secondly, it wasn't a free tour at all, as they immediately asked for 100 Dirhams per person... I've never experienced anything like that before.

The tour with Abdul was wonderful. He took us all around the Medina, explaining many things in detail and with great charm. My sister and I loved it. We were very sad that at the end of the tour there was a group of 6 people who only wanted to give him €20 for the 6 of them. After more than 4 hours of tour. I think that people who use this type of tours should also know how to value time and work, and Abdul dedicated his patience, time, and wisdom to give us an unforgettable morning. Opinion translated. A free tour, excellent, the local guide, Abdul, was incredibly attentive! With hundreds of explanations about the culture and medina of Fez, with a touch of humor that made his explanations very entertaining! He took us to many places, each of which brought us closer to understanding and knowing the history of this medina and its wealth of traditional crafts that are still being made. It was my first time doing a tour with Civitatis, and I want to highlight the professionalism of their guides! Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Our guide made today's tour very enjoyable, telling us many stories about Fez. The only drawback, though not his fault, was that the place he recommended for lunch to our group had told us they accepted cards, and the restaurant itself confirmed it, but then they didn't. We had to go and get cash because we'd decided to stay for lunch since they'd said they accepted cards. Opinion translated. Show original.

The tour dragged on a bit, and the locations used for the longer explanations weren't very well chosen...the explanations were good and it's clear the guide knows the city, but I would have liked to wander around the medina a bit more.

¡Gracias Abdel! Shukran :) Translate this opinion into English.

It was a very long tour, but super interesting and highly recommended if you want to really get to know Fes. Our guide, Abdellatif, spoke excellent Spanish and took us to so many places in the Fes medina: we saw how they made bread, went into a hammam, visited a weaving workshop, saw the tannery, and much more. A highly recommended tour. Thanks, Abdel! Shukran :) Opinion translated. Show original.

He narrated everything with passion and added his own touch of humor. We had a very enjoyable three and a half hours. After the tour, he accompanied us to a riad for lunch, which we wouldn't have found otherwise. I highly recommend him. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

Quite positive, the guide demonstrated knowledge, led an interesting tour, and was very helpful. The negative point was that, once again, the tour wasn't in Portuguese. It was delayed by 30 minutes. Based on what the guide said, he wasn't the person to lead the tour, but due to the large number of people, he ended up including us in the group. Opinion translated. Show original.

Muy recomendable Translate this opinion into English.

It was a well-planned tour with explanations that included religion, studies, and way of life. The guide had excellent command of Spanish and was very helpful, creating a good group dynamic. He took us to craft workshops where we learned about different trades, but the guide always added extra information, and there was never any pressure to buy. Highly recommended. Oh, and Latif, our guide, was a legend! He didn't have identification, and at first, we thought it was just another scam by the so-called guides. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

The guide led us through the streets of the Medina and explained the city's history. He combined the tour with short "shopping" stops so we could check prices and services at hammams, tanneries, and souks. This made the visit varied and enjoyable, allowing us to see different atmospheres and preventing it from feeling long despite lasting over two hours. Opinion translated. Show original.

Translate this opinion into English.

We spent nearly four hours in the Medina with Abdu, exploring the souks, the most important sites, and streets we would never have stumbled upon, even with a map. Abdu's explanations were fascinating, providing information about the city's history and Arab and Islamic culture. And because he interspersed jokes and asked questions to keep us engaged, the time flew by. We are grateful to Abdu for his dedication, his humor, and his enthusiasm during the tour. He gave us historical and interesting facts about the life, culture, and religion of what was the first and ancient capital of Morocco, and he kindly answered our questions and curiosities, especially about current life in the area. The activity was amazing. Idris really knows the old Medina. He showed us the most interesting parts of the Medina, and it really felt like we were discovering it through the eyes of a real local person. Besides all the tourist points, he spoke about life inside the Medina, which made the tour more interesting. If you are in Fez, you should definitely book this experience.

Translate this opinion into English.

The tour lasts longer than expected because it includes several interesting stops: madrassa, tannery, weaving, spices, hammam... It's worth it because you see places that would be difficult to find on your own. However, the time at some sites is a bit tight and the guide goes a little fast, which sometimes makes it hard to enjoy it at a leisurely pace. In the end, they recommend paying at least €10 or 100 dirhams per person, something to keep in mind even though the tour is advertised as 'free'. Opinion translated. Show original.

¡Totalmente recomendado
