We arrived promptly from the hotel in an air-conditioned van. The guide, Monica, and the driver were very welcoming, polite, and patient. We toured the Mangal das Garças, visited the butterfly garden (beautiful, entrance fee required) and the viewpoint (unmissable, entrance fee required, elevator access, 30 meters high, very safe). Afterwards, we strolled through the various stalls of the Ver-o-Peso Market, the Belém Church, the Forte do Presépio, and the jewelry center, which used to be a prison. Excellent.
